Today was our laziest yet. The only thing we did was go out for lunch and a walk. We ate at the White Horse, which claims to be the oldest tavern in the US dating from 1673. Even though it was 1:00 pm on a Friday after Labor Day, we still had to wait 45 minutes for a table. We took the opportunity to walk around the neighborhood. I took a picture of a particularly nice home that I later found was for sale for $645,000. The house is on the National Register but the inside has been remodeled and is beautiful. Ah well, we don't really want to move here anyway - too far from family and friends.
Back at lunch we shared a delicious caesar salad with white anchovies and a lobster mac and cheese dish. Both were fabulous. The waitress recommended their "cheese cake spring rolls" for dessert. She wasn't wrong - they were wonderful. We shared them as well - one each - and it was perfect.
Then it was a little more walking before returning to the unit for some TV, computer time and salad for dinner.
Fitbit registered only 4,913 steps.
